Nellore: People, traders immensely respond to Janata Curfew
• Even narrow lanes and interior places also witness no movement of people
Nellore: Janata Curfew gets huge success in Nellore with the involvement of the people who completely confined themselves to the houses on Sunday. Hotels, restaurants, tea shops, shopping malls, medical stores, food and eateries were also closed in support to the decision of the government.
Important junctions like Gandhi Junction Centre, Trunk Road, Venkatagiri Rajah's College Centre, Madras Bus Stand, Stonehouse Pet, Nawab Pet, Magunta Layout, Chinna Bazar and RR Street wore a deserted look.
Very few medical stores are kept opened at important locations.
In fact, curfew situations are new to the district population.
