The Union Home Secretary has summoned the officials of AP and Telangana to the Capital to discuss pending bifurcation issues on Wednesday.
New Delhi: The Union Home Secretary has summoned the officials of AP and Telangana to the Capital to discuss pending bifurcation issues on Wednesday.
Division of Andhra Pradesh Bhavan tops the list. At present the two governments have made ad hoc arrangements to split the accommodation available to carry out their operations.
Union Home Secretary is to chair the meeting. Division of Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) and allocation of Andhra Pradesh Heavy Machinery Engineering Limited (APHMEL) to Andhra Pradesh, payment of power dues by Discoms, division of AP State Financial Corporation, Establishment of Tribal University in Telangana and Greyhounds Training Centre for AP, Division of Scheduled 10 institutions, Apportionment of assets and liabilities of 40 institutions under Schedule 9 which are acceptable to AP are also to be discussed.
