Amaravati: The Andhra Pradesh government has granted administrative approval of Rs 1,208.41 crore for the construction of twin office towers in the Quantum Valley here, designed to boost IT and commercial growth.

Part of the dedicated Quantum Valley ecosystem in Amaravati, these iconic, G+43-floor towers will provide 3.7 million sq ft of office space, aiming to create a global hub for quantum tech companies, R&D labs, and startups.

The decision was taken during the 60th meeting of the Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA) held on April 23, clearing the ‘Shell and core’ works for the two towers, designated T1 and T2.

The project will be executed under the Design-Build Lumpsum (percentage tender) model, enabling a single contractor to handle planning, design, and execution. The government has directed the Amaravati Growth and Infrastructure Corporation Limited (AGICL) to immediately initiate the tendering process, with its Managing Director entrusted with project execution and supervision. Envisioned as a prestigious infrastructure initiative, the twin towers are expected to provide modern office spaces for the administrative machinery while strengthening Amaravati’s positioning as a growing urban and governance hub. The purpose is to serve as an IT/commercial hub, attracting global technology firms, startups, and innovation centres in AI and quantum computing.

Officials stated that the project is likely to accelerate development in the IT, commercial, and administrative sectors within the capital region. As part of the broader plan to build Amaravati into a global city, the towers are expected to emerge as prominent landmarks, while also giving fresh momentum to real estate and infrastructure activity in the region.
