The Meteorological Department has forecast rain in parts of Andhra Pradesh and Yanam over the next three days, as northeasterly winds prevail in the lower troposphere. Telangana is expected to remain mostly dry, although some areas may receive light to moderate rain.
The Andhra Pradesh State Disaster Management Authority said Coastal Andhra and Yanam could see light to moderate rain or thundershowers at one or two places on Saturday. Isolated thunderstorms with lightning are also possible. On Sunday and Monday, rain is expected to be accompanied by strong gusty winds of 30–40 kmph.
