Meera urged the people to take the responsibility of their old parents, especially when they fall ill. Otherwise, who will look after them, she asked.
On this occasion Meera lauded the voluntary organisations for taking care of destitute senior citizens who were suffering from various health problems. There were many cases in which the aged people suffer from mental depression and loneliness, he lamented.
