Shops can be opened from 10 am to 5 pm, including milk, medical and grocery outlets by maintaining a six feet physical distance. However, no shops should be opened in containment and buffer zones.
The guidelines specified the timings to open shops of various categories.
As per the guidelines, shopping malls and market complexes in rural and urban areas should not be opened.
Meanwhile, municipal corporation marked red and yellow circles at various shops in the city.
The red marked shops can do business on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and yellow marked shops can be opened on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
The municipal corporation formed three inter-departmental teams to implement the guidelines.
