Kurnool: The authorities of Sri Bharamarambhika Mallikarjuna Swamy temple at Srisailam are initiating steps to re-open Lord Mallikarjuna Swami temple for devotees after the lockdown is lifted. Queue line complexes are being marked with spaces to ensure adequate distance between the pilgrims.

Limited number of devotes will be allowed into the temple after lifting of lockdown to prevent the spreading of corona virus.

A source said that the temple authorities are waiting for instructions from the state government and from Endowment department to allow devotees. As a precautionary measure, covid-19 tests have been conducted to the entire staff and the result of the all staff was reported negative.

No one had such virus symptoms and all temple staff including priests and the Executive Officer, KS Rama Rao is also in healthy state, said the source.

The EO, KS Rama Rao said that online seva services under the name of Paroksha seva or digital seva are going on and every day more than hundred enquiries are being received.
