The coronavirus suspect has been reportedly escaped from the State COVID-19 hospital on Thursday. Upon learning of the matter, the police informed that she was on the bus and was taken into custody and taken back to the hospital. Going into details, a 65-year-old woman from Adoni town along with three others were taken to State COVID Hospital for treatment early Thursday morning. A 65-year-old woman underwent corona tests in Adoni and found COVID-19 symptoms. Therefore she was brought her to Kurnool for RT PCR examination. At eight o'clock in the morning, she got out of the hospital

Afterwards, she waited in the bus stand for the bus till afternoon and alighted in a RTC bus. Upon the nursing staff on duty found the elderly woman missing had searched for woman in the surrounding places. However, the superintendent of the hospital, Dr. G. Narendranath Reddy, lodged a complaint with the police. Immediately, the police learned that the woman was traveling in a bus to Adoni. She was detained from the RTC bus at Payalkurthy and taken back to the hospital in 108 ambulance.

District Collector G. Veerapandian has expressed outrage over the corona victim's escape from the hospital. He ordered the superintendent of the hospital, Dr. G. Narendranath Reddy, to look for her with the help of the police and doctors and to recapture her in the ambulance. He ordered that those responsible for the incident be immediately suspended and a full report be given.
