Tirupati: Covid positive cases reach 227 in Chittoor district

The score of Covid-19 positive cases in Chittoor district has reached 227 with the addition of four new cases on Friday. Among these, 104 patients are cured and discharged while another 122 are taking treatment in the hospitals and one patient died while undergoing treatment.
Tirupati: The score of Covid-19 positive cases in Chittoor district has reached 227 with the addition of four new cases on Friday. Among these, 104 patients are cured and discharged while another 122 are taking treatment in the hospitals and one patient died while undergoing treatment.
All the four cases reported on Friday were linked to Koyambedu and they are one each from Varadaiahpalem, Satyavedu, Vijayapuram and Nagalapuram, according to the official communique. On Friday, 11 patients were discharged from Ruia Hospital while another two from state Covid hospital in SVIMS.
