As many as 9,750 applicants were identified for the house site pattas in Mylavaram Assembly constituency limits, said Joint Collector K Madhavi Latha.
Vijayawada: As many as 9,750 applicants were identified for the house site pattas in Mylavaram Assembly constituency limits, said Joint Collector K Madhavi Latha. She informed the Mylavaram MLA, Vasantha Venkata Krishna Prasad about the same when he visited the Joint Collector's camp office in Vijayawada on Thursday.
She said according to estimates, the beneficiaries need 200 acres government of land and 246 acres of government land is available in the constituency and layout will be made in G Konduru, Ibrahimpatnam and Mylavaram mandals.
He said that so far, the work related to four layouts were completed and 40 layouts were yet to be developed.
The MLA said the distribution of house site pattas to the eligible poor by Ugadi is the dream of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and requested the JC to try to complete the work. Sub-Collector M Dhyana Chandra and mandal tahsildars attended the meeting.
