Vijayawada: Kula Vivaksha Porata Samiti opposes land pooling in Vizag

Vijayawada: Kula Vivaksha Porata Samiti state general secretary A Malyadri demanded that the government should not use the community halls built with the SC/ST funds in the State.

He along with other members of the KVPS submitted a representation to the director of social welfare Harshavardhan on Thursday. In his memorandum Malyadri demanded that the government immediately stop changing community halls into ward and village secretariats.

He also demanded that the government stop land pooling in Visakhapatnam. He expressed apprehensions that Dalits may lose their lands due to the land pooling activity in Visakhapatnam and reminded that the government had decided to take lands in 10 mandals.
