Visakhapatnam: 4-month-old recovers from Covid-19, discharged

Visakhapatnam: A four-month-old boy was discharged on Friday after recovering from Covid-19. Son of T Lakshmi from East Godavari district in tribal area, who is four months old was infected with coronavirus.

After testing positive for the infection, the boy was shifted to Visakha Institute of Medical Sciences Hospital on May 25 in a critical condition. The boy was treated for 18 days on the ventilator.

Later, he got completely recovered and discharged. District Collector V Vinay Chand appreciated the medical fraternity for providing treatment to the child.
