A Covid-19 positive patient gave birth to a baby girl on Saturday night. A 23-year-old pregnant woman from Srikakulam district has been admitted to Visakha Institute of Medical Sciences (VIMS) hospital.
Visakhapatnam: A Covid-19 positive patient gave birth to a baby girl on Saturday night. A 23-year-old pregnant woman from Srikakulam district has been admitted to Visakha Institute of Medical Sciences (VIMS) hospital.
The doctors did C-section in the hospital following precautionary measures. The mother and the child are said to be safe. District Collector V Vinay Chand appreciated the VIMS director K Satya Vara Prasad and the doctors, who performed the operation for the Covid-19 patient.
