Visakhapatnam: Tourism Minister M Srinivasa Rao said that Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has given a rule like no other Chief Minister did in the past.

Speaking at a media conference, he said that 90 per cent of the promises made in the manifesto had been fulfilled.

"Farmers are getting benefited through Rythu Bharosa Kendras. A medical college is coming up in every constituency with an objective to make quality healthcare accessible to the poor. Despite the financial crunch due to lockdown and coronavirus, government is committed in issuing 27 lakh house pattas to the beneficiaries by July 8," the Minister said.

On the Opposition party's views, the Minister said TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu was trying to spread confusion among people. Srinivasa Rao wondered where did Naidu and his MLAs go when people were suffering during lockdown. He demanded that the TDP let at least one MLA say that they would under the leadership of Naidu's son Lokesh.

"A leader should be born out of people and not from families, lineages, caste and races. TDP State president Kala Venkata Rao is likely to be removed from the post and they are looking for a scapegoat. The CM's plan to decentralise capital is only to focus on equitable development of the State. It is because of the previous leadership's debts that the YSRC government is suffering," the Minister added.

Visakhapatnam MP M V V Satyanarayana, Gajuwaka MLA Tippala Nagi Reddy were among others participated in the meet.

Later the Minister laid foundation stone for Rythu Bharosa Kendram at Padmanabham mandal.
