Vijayawada: A lot of employment opportunities are waiting to be grabbed in logistics sector, said Afzal TI, academic director of Kerala-based ICAST Institute of Management on Saturday while addressing a workshop on 'Employment opportunities in Logistics and Chain Management' organised by the Logistics department of Kakaraparti Bhavanarayana College here. Addressing the students, Afzal said that business and commercial establishments were expanding throughout the world and logistics was also developing along with them.
He exhorted the students to develop communication skills to grab the opportunities. "They should closely watch the developments in logistics by observing the market needs and changes," he said.
Principal Dr V Narayana Rao said such workshops were being conducted to bring awareness among students in various fields.
Logistics department in-charge Muralidhar organised the workshop.
