Tirupati: YG Krishna, a player of Indian Junior Volleyball team which won bronze medal in the Asian Volleyball Tournament was felicitated at a function held on the occasion of Teachers' Day at Amara Raja Vidyalayam in Karakambadi village near here on Thursday.
Krishna, a student of the Vidyalayam and a player of Indian Junior Volleyball team beat Bangladesh team in the tournament organised by Asian International Tennis and Volleyball Federation at Pune in Maharashtra to get third place (bronze medal) in the tournament.
The Amara Raja Group of Companies Chairman Galla Ramachandra Naidu, school management and teachers congratulated Krishna and wished him to win more medals and bring laurels to the State and the school.
