YS Rajasekhara Reddy is my best friend says, Chandrababu Naidu
The TDP president and Opposition leader Nara Chandrababu Naidu have clarified that late CM YS Rajasekhara Reddy was his best friend and apart from political rivalry they had no personal issues.
Amaravati: The TDP president and Opposition leader Nara Chandrababu Naidu have clarified that late CM YS Rajasekhara Reddy was his best friend and apart from political rivalry they had no personal issues.
As part of today's Assembly session, a debate on the removal of statues has taken place in the House, where the YSRCP MLA Ambati Rambabu has made controversial comments on Chandrababu that he gets stomach burning while seeing the statue of YSR. He said the YSR statue in Vijayawada doesn't create any inconvenience to anyone.
Ambati criticized Chandrababu that on seeing the statue on his daily route, with the jealous he has removed the statue from there.
Responding on this, Chandrababu said that Rajasekhara Reddy is my best friend and we had traveled together from 1975 to 1983. He also said that Rajasekhara Reddy and I stayed in the same room. He said Jagan might not aware of our friendship. On the occasion, Chandrababu Naidu clarified that apart from political rivalry, we had no personal issues.
