All banks will remain closed for eight days (including the banks strike on February 1st) in February.

All the banks will remain closed for eight days in February. This month the banks will be closed on four Sundays and two Saturdays. There is only one occasion that falls in this month that is Maha Shivaratri, that is on Friday, 21st February. If the bank strike materialises, the banking services could be affected on February 1st as well.

Different states will have special public holidays accordingly. Customers are advised to plan their bank-related work as per the bank holidays.

List of Bank Holidays in February 2020:

 February 2 – Sunday

 February 8 – Second Saturday

 February 9 – Sunday

 February 16 – Sunday

 February 21 – Maha Shivaratri

 February 22 – Fourth Saturday

 February 23 – Sunday

When it comes to state holidays, customers are advised to visit their respective bank branch and find out the exact dates. Please note that banks are closed on the second and fourth Saturdays of every month.
