Is Shahid Kapur starring in remake of Suriya film?

The Hindi remake of 'Arjun Reddy' – Kabir Singh - extended the career of actor Shahid Kapur by a few years as it turned out to be the biggest hit of the year when released a year ago.

He is to be featured in the remake of the Nani starrer ' Jersey' also. A popular star for his infectious screen presence and dance moves, Shahid is likely to score well with the forthcoming film too.

News is that ' Soorarai Potru' the biopic on Captain G R Gopinath which is featuring Suriya in the lead is also a likely project for Shahid Kapur in the near future.

While the original film carries huge expectations, the remake of it with the Hindi hero too seems to be under consideration.

The only hitch, sources say in the Tamil media is whether Shahid would be happy featuring in one remake after the other at this phase of his career.
