Netflix India is all set to collaborate with popular and veteran filmmakers from India for 10 new original films by the end of 2020.

The digital streaming service announced via a video on social media that they are collaborating with filmmakers such as Karan Johar, Zoya Akhtar, Dibakar Banerjee, Anurag Kashyap, Sooni Taraporevala, Shirish Kunder, Atul Sabharwal, Shashanka Ghosh, Terrie Samundra, Neeraj Udhwani, Sudhir Mishra and a lot more for various projects.

Netflix India dropped the announcement video on Twitter, they captioned it, "Pictures abhi baaki hai mere dost. We're happy to announce that 10 new Indian original films are coming your way"

The films are titled, Class of 83, Guilty, Ghost Stories, Serious Men, Yeh Ballet, Maska, House Arrest, Kaali Khuhi, Freedom and Mrs. Serial Killer. The films ranges from serious drama, to slice of life, to real life based drama and noir's.

Netflix had earlier announced five Indian original films – Sarthak Dasgupta's Music Teacher, Sachin Kundalkar's Cobalt Blue, Sachin Yardi's Chopsticks, Udai Singh Pawar's Upstarts and Bulbul, produced by Anushka Sharma – which too will be out by 2020.
