Tiger Shroff Biography: From Jackie Shroff’s Son To Bollywood’s Action Star

Tiger Shroff… This name is now hitting the headlines as he survived a deadly shooting attempt on Sunday evening, October 18, 2026. According to the sources, the assailants fired about 7 rounds at Tiger Shroff’s vehicle while Tiger was leaving a football ground in Juhu.

Although, Tiger completely escaped from this attack, his driver and another person sustained gunshots and were rushed to Nanavati hospital. Well, Tiger Shroff made his debut into Bollywood being the only son of ace actor Jackie Shroff. Although he had that image during his first film, slowly Tiger carved a niche with all his talent and dedication and impressed all and sundry with his amazing dancing skills and athletic body.

Well, Tiger was born as Jai Hemant Shroff on 2nd March, 1900 in Mumbai to Jackie Shroff and Ayesha Shroff and has a younger sister Krishna Shroff who is an entrepreneur. On the other hand, as he grew up in the family which is completely associated to cinema, he gradually developed interest in movies and also concentrated on his dancing skills and physical fitness to survive the heavy competition. This later became his biggest strengths too! Well, Tiger completed his schooling at the American School of Bombay and later bagged his degree from Amity University. Thereafter, his admiration for martial arts made him to stay fit.

Well, Tiger made his Bollywood debut with Heropanti in 2014 which is helmed by Sabbir Khan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. This movie had Kriti Sanon as the female lead and bagged a decent status at the box office introducing Tiger’s dancing skills and fitness to the movie lovers! Thereafter, he acted in Baaghi, A Flying Jatt, Munna Michael, Baaghi 2, Student Of The Year 2, War, Baaghi 3, Heropanti 2, Ganpath, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan and Baaghi 4.

On the other hand, Tiger began learning martial arts at the age of four and is trained in Taekwondo and Wushu too. This physical transformation helped him to ace several action sequences in his movies. Even Tiger’s dancing skills are hugely appreciated in the industry thus his songs too hold that craze on the big screens.

Tiger also co-founded Matrix Fight Night in 2019 with his family. It is a mixed martial arts platform reflects his interest in combat sports and his efforts to support the sport in India.
