Nayanthara Pens An Emotional Note Ahead Of Mookuthi Amman 2 Release
It is well known that Kollywood’s lady superstar Nayanthara is all set to entertain the audience with the sequel of Mookuthi Amman. As the release date is nearing, the makers also upped the expectations on the movie with an engaging trailer. Of late, our dear Nayan who will be seen as Goddess Mookuthi Amman in this movie penned a heartfelt note on her Insta page and thanked the whole team for their support and love.
This post reads, “Some films stay close to your heart long after the cameras stop rolling. For me, Mookuthi Amman 2 is one such film.
To my director, Sundar C Sir, thank you for bringing your vision, warmth and passion to this film. Working with you has been a joy. Thank you for the care you put into every moment and for making this journey so memorable. I will be forever grateful to you for this film.
To my producer, Ishari K. Ganesh Sir, thank you for believing in this film and for supporting us. Having a producer who believes in a story so wholeheartedly makes every step of the journey more meaningful.
Regena, it was lovely sharing this journey with you. Wishing you all the love and success in everything that lies ahead.
Khushbu Ma'am and Sneha Ma'am, being part of this film with both of you is something I'll cherish. Sending you both the biggest hugs and all my love.
I feel fortunate to have shared this journey with such a wonderful cast and crew.
And now, I can't wait for all of you to experience the world we've created together.
OM SHAKTHI”.
Well, the makers also completed the censor formalities and shared this big news on social media. Take a look!
This post reads, “#MookuthiAmman2CensoredU/A. A @sundarcoffl Spectacle We’re all set to blow your mind with GRANDEUR, DEVOTION & POWERFUL EMOTIONS. Grand Diwali release on November 6, 2026”.
Going with the earlier released trailer, it highlights Regena Cassandrra and Duniya Vijay as mystical villains who appear to threaten the world with their supernatural powers. Although Nayan is introduced as a police constable in the trailer, she is seen frightened of small things like sleeping alone. But then the trailer also reveals the main plot of the movie by showcasing how Regena and Duniya Vijay trap innocent young children as part of their sinister plans. On the other hand, Nayan is seen in dual role in this movie and will also appear as Goddess Mookuthi Amman who will be seen fighting with both demons and these mystical villains to protect her people from the chaos. But the connection between Goddess Mookuthi Amman and constable Nayanthara seems to be an interesting element of this movie.
This movie has an ensemble cast of Urvashi, Yogi Babu, Myna Nandini, Garuda Ram, Abhinaya, Shruthy S, Singapuli Annavi, VR Swaminathan, Sivakumar S, Sunil Varma Indukuri, Varshini Venkat, Pala Karuppiah, Ananda Adhista Lakshmi, Nitin Sathyaa and Deblina Chaki while it is being directed by Sundar C and produced by Dr. Ishari K Ganesh under the VELS Film International Limited banner.
As Mookuthi Amman 2 is scheduled to hit the big screens on 6th November, it is all set to lock the horns with most-awaited Ramayan movie. It’s going to be an interesting clash as these movies belong to the same genre! On the other hand, even Suriya’s Scene is also scheduled to hit the big screens on the same date. So, its going to be the biggest clash in the theatres for this Diwali.
