Shruti Haasan Replaces Samantha In Indo-UK Film
It is well known that Tollywood’s ace actress Samantha is presently enjoying her pregnancy phase. Well, she also shared this big news to all her fans during her recent movie Maa Inti Bangaram success celebrations. Although, the couple weren’t expecting the baby anytime soon, it came as a blessing and surprised them to the core. Samantha also stated that, the pregnancy was unexpected and she and Raj had been comfortable either way about having children. But this pregnancy changed their lives completely.
Sam also shared the pics of her traditional seemantham a couple of days ago on her Insta page and celebrated her special day among her close friends and relatives. Well, Sam announced a small break from the movies and also stated that she would be back with Maa Inti Bangaram 2 after delivering the baby.
Well, this also made her to step back from Indo-UK film Chennai Story. As of now, South Indian ace actress Shruti Haasan replaced Samantha in this movie which is being helmed by BAFTA winner Philip John (Downton Abbey) and written by Nimmi Harasgama and Philip John. This movie is being made based on the novel The Arrangements of Love by Timeri N. Murari (The Taliban Cricket Club).
Going with the story, it is set across the UK and India, the film follows Nikhil, a working-class Welshman of South Asian origin. After losing his mother, he travels to Chennai in search of his estranged father and to reconnect with his ancestral roots. During his journey, he meets Shruti aka Anu, a sharp and street-smart private detective, and seeks her help in tracking down his father.
Well, Shruti Haasan already impressed all and sundry by crooning the theme song of SS Rajamouli’s Varanasi. She will next be seen in Dulquer Salman’s Aakasamlo Oka Tara movie.
