Adarsha Kutumbam: Will Venkatesh’s Family Entertainer Miss October 9?
It is well known that Tollywood’s ace actor Venkatesh and popular filmmaker Trivikram’s most-awaited movie Adarsha Kutumbam is all set to hit the big screens on 9th October, 2026 just a day ahead of Dussehra Navratri. Although the makers repeatedly reaffirmed the release date on social media through their posts, still rumours are doing rounds on social media about the postponement of this movie.
Already the characters promos and the first single, “Narayanamma…” are creating a buzz on social media and the trailer is scheduled to be launched tomorrow, October 6, still there is no official announcement from the makers except Naga Vamsi’s tweet.
Some of the reports state that the movie team is also considering 16th October as their alternative date. However, as Vijay Deverakonda’s Ranabaali and Rajinikanth’s Jailer 2 are already scheduled for release around the same date, Adarsha Kutumbam might have to settle for fewer screens. Moreover, as Naga Vamsi is also distributing Jailer 2 in the Telugu states, he might face difficulties in managing the screen allocation between these two movies.
And the second alternative date is October 30. This way the team also gets additional time to wrap up their post-production work. But already Venkatesh and his team are busy with crazy promotional interviews. So, tomorrow’s trailer launch might give an exact update on the release date.
Well, the makers already unveiled the teaser of Adarsha Kutumbam and introduced the main characters of this movie. Going by the teaser, Venky is seen vexed by his daily household chores as Chitti Babu. The makers highlighted his son Sarva’s poor academic performance and his wife Swarna’s habit of lending money. Amid all this chaos, Chitti Babu completes all the household work but always reaches the office late. On the other hand, his problems get doubled up when he loses his job. However, his fate takes a turn when he suddenly becomes rich. Although Venky’s family appears happy in their new bungalow, the makers also offer a glimpse of a mysterious death and Venky’s involvement in it. On the whole, the film might appear to be a comedy-drama, but the death mystery adds thriller elements to the story.
Chitti Babu family’s unique, Gen Z-inspired characterizations in the movie are expected to generate the fun. Even Nara Rohith is essaying a prominent role in this family drama.
On the other hand, Adarsha Kutumbam is the first collaboration of Venkatesh and Trivikram. Although Venkatesh and Trivikram had previously worked together for Malleswari and Nuvvu Naaku Nachav, Trivikram served only as the dialogue writer for those films. So, there are many expectations on this family entertainer. This Trivikram directorial is being produced by S Radha Krishna under the Haarika & Hassine Creations banner.
