On Thursday, Asaduddin Owaisi met the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao at Pragati Bhavan and discussed the current political scenario in the city. In the last elections, TRS party had contested for 99 seats and AIMIM for 50 seats out of the total 150 seats.
Earlier, minister KT Rama Rao has also clarified that TRS is neither a friend nor had any alliance with AIMIM for GHMC elections. He said that it was normal in politics that a political party may extend issue-based support to other parties or a government, even while retaining the right to be opponents in the electoral fray.
