It is well known that Tollywood’s stylish star Allu Arjun is currently busy with ace filmmaker Atlee’s Raaka movie. Right from the announcement to Allu Arjun’s first look poster, every update from this movie created enough buzz on social media. Being a complete sci-fi fantasy drama, it needs an extensive VFX work and thus the makers are thinking to release this movie in next December.
And coming to the latest shooting updates, the team is currently filming in Mumbai and once that schedule gets wrapped up, they will shift to Hyderabad’s Ramoji Film City for their next schedule. Although the makers gave a thought to shoot an important sequence in Dubai, they changed their plans and decided to film it in Hyderabad. This gives a big relief to Allu Arjun too as he need not travel to Mumbai frequently.
Well, after wrapping Mumbai and Hyderabad schedules, the makers also planned an overseas schedule to film the major sequences of this movie. According to the ongoing speculations, Allu Arjun will be seen in four different roles in Raaka movie and has undergone a major physical transformation to perfectly fit the bill. As Pushpa series have given him the much-needed Pan-Indian appeal, this time, he is hoping to surpass it with a complete visual wonder. Although Deepika is the lead actress, Atlee’s team has wrapped up her part due to her pregnancy and completed her portions before taking a break.
This movie also has Rashmika Mandanna, Janhvi Kapoor and Mrunal Thakur as the lead ladies of this movie! This Atlee directorial is being produced under the Sun Pictures banner and will hit the theatres on 5th December, 2027. Allu Arjun will next team up with Lokesh Kanagraj for a complete action thriller. As Raaka needs more time to complete VFX works, Allu Arjun is planning to join the sets of Lokesh Kanagaraj’s next once his part is done here. Not to forget, Allu Arjun aka Raaka is introduced as a werewolf in his first look poster!
