‘Happy Journey’ locks Sept 18 global release
The makers of Happy Journey have announced September 18 as the film’s worldwide release date. The upcoming film promises a different perspective on travel, relationships and personal experiences, with women and their stories as the highlight.
Featuring seven prominent female characters, the film stars Annapurnamma, Amani, Anchor Jhansi, Payal Radhakrishna, JinishaAlishetty, Roopaa Srinivas and Sunaina in pivotal roles, whose individual journeys converge into a memorable trip, with PrudhviDandamudi, Wamce and Ravi Siva TejaPaila playing key supporting roles.
The newly released poster captures a travel-centric mood as the ensemble cast comes together against an airport backdrop. Travel bags, an aircraft and a paper-plane motif underline the theme, as does the tagline, “Some Trips Change Plans… Some Change Lives,” which reveals the emotional twists the characters are in for.
Directed by debutant Abhiramm Naidu, Happy Journey is produced by Balaji Gutta and Koushik Reddy under Gutta Productions and Kamalakar Film Corporation, with Tharun Reddy as co-producer.
The heartwarming teaser has already scored well with viewers. Shekar Chandra is responsible for the music, while Manikandan Subramaniyan is the cinematographer, Chota K Prasad the editor and Brahma Kadali the production designer.
