Is Nag in the running to host Telugu Bigg Boss?
Akkineni Nagarjuna did appear on Bigg Boss Season-2, to promote his film with Nani, Devdas. He did say that he doesn't like the format to become a participant.

As he did not have a problem in appearing on the show, to promote his film, he may not have problem to host it, as well.
In that hope, Star Maa is trying to bring him on board for hosting the season -3. Jr. NTR is completely vested in RRR and Nani is not interested after all that happened.
While the producers are also trying for Megastar Chiranjeevi and Venkatesh, Star Maa is more hopeful with Nagarjuna, it seems. He has a good image in ladies, families as he won their hearts again with Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu.
Chiranjeevi wanted to host it and he gave it up for his friend. But the move did not work out for Star Maa. The season 4 of MEK did not come up with great TRPs.
Hence, Star Maa is more keen on Nagarjuna and also, he planned his next two in his own production house, so, he can manage dates, also the show will be shot in his vicinity, his own Annapurna Studios. They are trying for him hard as per sources from TFI!
