Pretty girl Krithi Shetty, who hails from Mangalore, is all set to make her T-town debut. She will be romancing Vaishnav Tej’s, Chiranjeevi’s nephew, in his debut film which was launched sometime ago.

After confirming Tamil star Vijay Sethupathi for an important role, the makers have now roped in female lead and it will also be her screen debut. Titled 'Uppena' the film will be directed by Buchi Babu Sana, who is an assistant of director Sukumar. The regular shooting of the film will commence from May 25.
Devi Sri Prasad will be composing music while Shamdat Sainudeen will handle the cinematography. Mythri Movie Makers is collaborating with director Sukumar's Sukumar Writings banner for this film.
