If reliable industry sources are to be believed, there will no Telugu artiste in Vijay Devarakonda's upcoming movie with director Puri Jagannadh. Already, B-town hottie Ananya Pandey has been roped in to play the female lead, while most of the other roles including father, mother, baddy and other characters will be essayed by B-town actors.
"No Telugu actor has been signed yet and the chances are looking bleak," says an industry source and adds, "It will be more like a proper Hindi film with B-town casting and crew and technicians from Hollywood too,"
The most-happening hero Vijay Deverakonda's pan-India movie will be a Hindi film but will be released in Telugu, Tamil and other languages as well.
"Puri doesn't want to mix up artistes from various languages like a cliched multilingual film, rather wants to make a larger-than-life film with 'Arjun Reddy' star and help the young actor to reach out Hindi film viewers in a big way," the source points out.
Right now, the shoot is taking place in a massive set erected by art director Jonny. Ananya looks gorgeous in a black outfit, wherein Vijay Deverakonda is charismatic as ever in the picture unveiled by the makers.
Earlier, hotshot Prabhas and director Sujeeth also did a similar kind of casting for their last release 'Saaho' which boasted B-town actors like Jackie Shroff, Chunky Pandey, Evyln Sharma, Jacqueline Fernandes and Tinnu Anand.
"Murali Sharma and Vennela Kishore were a few prominent faces from T-town in that movie," the source informs.
No doubt, 'Saaho' conquered Hindi film market, but failed to click with the Telugu viewers. Hope, Vijay Deverakonda scores big in both Hindi and Telugu box office, a rare feat for Telugu actor.
