Tollywood’s ace actors Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna’s most-awaited movie Ranabaali is all set to hit the theatres on 16th October, 2026 on the occasion of the Dussehra festival. As the release date is nearing, the makers are busy with promotions. Being a pre-Independence warrior drama, this movie will highlight Vijay Deverakonda as a freedom fighter who goes against the British officers for the sake of his people.

The makers are also going with a unique set of promotions. Of late, they also dropped the third episode of the documentary series, The Men We Forgot on social media and made us reminisce the great freedom fighters whose names were never etched in the history books.

This post reads, “Inspired by the real-life unsung heroes, SINGANAMALA BOBBILI RANABAALI was born. Watch The untold truth of the men who stood up and fought for their motherland. #Ranabaali Never Forget.

Truth 3 : THE MEN WE FORGOT out now

#Ranabaali GRAND RELEASE WORLDWIDE ON 16.10.26.”

Well, the video showcased the BTS action sequences of Vijay Deverakonda alongside the director Rahul also doled out about a few freedom fighters like Narasimha Reddy, Bobbili Nagireddy and Budda Vengal Reddy from Rayalseema area who fought against the deadly British officers. He also stated that all these palegars raised their voice for their people but never recognized as their names were not etched in the history books. Ranabaali is also one such freedom fighter whose character is inspired from one of such folklore!

The makers also unveiled the teaser a few days ago and highlighted the glimpses of the main plot. They showcased how cruelly British officers and rulers left our Indians to die by making them starved. They killed, raped and brutally kicked our people who tried to oppose them. It’s seemed to be a next-to-impossible task for them to at least pick a handful of food grains. Mummy actor Arnold Vosloo once again made us go jaw dropped with his intense and deadly looks and made us hate his character by killing our people ruthlessly.

Here enters our freedom fighter, Ranabaali who takes a toll on the British officers for making our people starve. His anger, rage and fight for his people made him look amazing and on the other hand Rashmika Mandanna as Jayamma also fought equally and is seen supporting her husband in all possible ways.

Ranabaali movie is being helmed by Rahul Sankrityan and is produced by Ravi Shankar and Naveen Yerneni under the Mythri Movie Makers banner. This most-awaited movie will hit the big screens on 16th October, 2026.
