‘Vettuvam’ first look unveiled
Filmmaker Pa. Ranjith is all set to present an ambitious pan-India action epic, Vettuvam and the makers have unveiled its first-look poster and the World of Vettuvam video. The film is set for a grand theatrical release this December.
Starring Arya, V.R. Dinesh, Sobhita Dhulipala, Kalaiyarasan and Mime Gopi, Vettuvam is produced by S. Sai Devanand, S. Sai Venkateswaran and Pa. Ranjith under Learn and Teach Production and Neelam Productions.
The newly released video provides a peek into the film’s expansive world building, telling a story that spans three timelines - past, present and future, as the ancient communities and their way of life impacts the present and future in terms of nature, human conflicts and power struggles.
The film follows tribes to fight to establish dominance. Arya plays Dharmarajan while Shabeer Kallarakkal, Kalaiyarasan, Sobhita Dhulipala and V.R. Dinesh play Sembiyan, Veeravarman, Radhi and Nandan respectively.
The cast trained extensively in traditional martial arts like Adimurai and Malkhamb, along with other combat sports. The video features narration by Rana Daggubati, Soubin Shahir, Kichcha Sudeep and Pa. Ranjith for the Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Tamil versions respectively.
