As a part of the “Green India Challenge” launched by J Santosh Kumar, MP, Rajya Sabha, Manikonda Suresh Kumar an Alumni of Oxford Grammar School, Himayatnagar has planted a sapling along with M Prarthana, Vice Chairperson of the School at its school premises.
Hyderabad: As a part of the "Green India Challenge" launched by J Santosh Kumar, MP, Rajya Sabha, Manikonda Suresh Kumar an Alumni of Oxford Grammar School, Himayatnagar has planted a sapling along with M Prarthana, Vice Chairperson of the School at its school premises. The occasion was attended by Principals, teachers and students of CBSE and SSC wings.
It is a known fact that the school is trying to bring momentum and patronage of requirement of eco-schools in the present scenario. In this context the School has conducted STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Maths) a Science Exhibition based on theme "Save Planet Earth" also developed vertical garden in the school.
On this occasion Manikonda Suresh Kumar expressed that he will procure about 3000 saplings from Forest Department to distribute to the parents of the school to strengthen the green campaign further in order to attain a livable and sustainable Telangana State.
