Rural tribal school kids exposed to Artificial Intelligence, robotics

Asifabad: Multipurpose awareness society organised free computer awareness programmes giving students basic knowledge about artificial intelligence along with robotics, smart home for rural tribal school kids in Asifabad PHS School and Government Junior College, Kowtala Mandal during the whole month of June.

The programme was attended by more than 400 rural tribal school students along with their teachers and school principal. The multipurpose awareness society has announced to conduct similar programs in 25 more schools in various mandals across Asifabad. Speaking to The Hans India project investigator Boda Nageswara Rao said, "We are planning to organise more such science activities in near future for the learning of rural school kids.

Those who attended the programme have now basic knowledge of building a robot along with other electronics, computer, and artificial intelligence.

This will surely boost their morale and in future, we might see some rural innovators coming up with some amazing innovations. The next batch of schools will start this month soon" he said.
