Kabir Singh, the highly anticipated movie starring Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani is getting released on June 21. A substantial part of the movie was shot at Mumbai's renowned Asian Heart Institute, India's foremost hospital for cardiology and cardiac surgery services. Kabir Singh is a remake of Telugu film Arjun Reddy (2017).

"We were keen to shoot the movie at the Asian Heart Institute known to provide state-of-the-art medical cardiac care, to achieve a realistic look and feel to the film. Shahid Kapoor who plays the title character of a surgeon, shot some key scenes from the movie at the hospital. It was a pleasure to work with such a professional hospital team," said film producer Murad Khetani.

To commemorate the release of the film, Asian Heart Institute has launched a 'heart age calculator' on the hospital website. The Heart Age Calculator tells you your heart age compared to your chronological age; which is how many birthdays you've had. People visiting the hospital website will be able to check their heart age and heart risk; because it takes many lifestyle factors into consideration, including diet, exercise and sleeping habits, to name a few.

A short video starring Shahid Kapoor, Kiara Advani and director Sandeep Vanga was also released in which all the three of them are seen asking people to practice heart healthy habits to maintain a younger biological heart age.

"We are happy to collaborate with the Kabir Singh movie team who are helping us spread the message of heart healthy habits. The Heart Age Calculator is our special initiative that will be visible on the hospital website. Your risk of a heart attack or stroke is higher if your heart age is greater than your actual age.Keep your heart young by adopting healthy habits such as yoga, exercise and a good diet," said Dr Vijay DSilva, Medical Director at the Asian Heart Institute.

Anyone can log on to www.asianheartinstitute.org, and find their heart age; a special collaboration with team Kabir Singh.
