AP High Court cancels Sanchaita's appointment as Mansas trust chairperson, orders to reappoint Ashok Gajapathi raju
It is learned that the government last year removed former Union minister and TDP senior leader Pusapati Ashok Ganapathi Raju from the post of chairman of the Mansas Trust, Simhachalam Temple Board and appointed Anand Gajapathi's daughter Sanchaita as director. The High Court has struck down the G.O issued by the government and ordered the re-appointment of Ashok Ganapathi Raju as the chairman of the two trusts and cancelled the appointment of the Sanchaita. Union minter of culture and tourism announced to open all the monuments of ASI from 16 June
New Delhi: The pace of coronavirus seems to be stopping across the country. After this it has been decided that all the monuments of the Archaeological Survey of India ASI will open from June 16. The Union Minister of Culture and Tourism made this announcement on Monday. Due to the havoc of the second wave of the Corona epidemic, the ASI had closed all the monuments across the country including the Taj Mahal on 16 April. Initially, the 15-day captive was later extended till June 15.

Telangana logs 1,280 COVID-19 cases, 15 deaths
Telangana on Sunday recorded 1,280 new COVID-19 cases and 15 deaths, pushing the tally so far to over six lakh and 3,484 respectively.
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) accounted for the highest number of cases with 165 followed by Khammam (156) and Nalgonda (80) districts, a bulletin said.
The number of active cases was 21,137. The total number of cases in the State stood at 6,03,369 while with 2,261 people being cured, the total recoveries were 5,78,748.
Over 91,000 samples were tested Sunday. Cumulatively, over 1.58 crore samples have been tested. The samples tested per 10 lakh population were over 4.26 lakh, the bulletin said.
The case fatality rate in the State was 0.57 per cent while the recovery rate in Telangana was 95.91 per cent. A separate release said as on June 12, over 63 lakh people received their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine and over 15 lakh got their second jab. (PTI)

India's Covid cases continued to witness decline as it recorded 70,421 new Covid cases, lowest since March 31 and 3,921 deaths due to the virus in the last 24 hours, according to data released by the Union Health and Family Welfare Ministry on Monday. Read Full Story
