Analysis

Psycho suspense crime thriller movies engage audience well. That's why new directors choose such stories and achieve success in the film industry. Producers are also giving importance to similar stories and making movies. For movies of this genre, with a non-star cast, gripping stories can be a hit at the box office. The latest movie 'Arangetram' is also a similar movie.

The movie stick to the basic plot line from the beginning of the movie to the end card, without any deviation. The story and screenplay written by the director were shown on the screen in a very gripping manner. In the first half, the girls are brutally killed by a psycho. Then the protagonist character enters as a suspect.

Exciting screenplay like revealing the real psycho character in the interval bang increases the audience's expectation on the second half. In the second half, the hidden motive behind the series of murders by psycho is also shown in a different way which engages the audience.

Srinivas also gave a message about how parents should not treat children in a family and how parents who are separated due to illicit relations have an effect on children. On a whole, “Arangetram” movie is an engaging psycho crime thriller.

Srinivas Prabhan's screen presence is good and engages audience with his timing. Psycho character has been shaped very good. Actor Mustafa Askari played the role of Psycho well. Accordingly, character’s makeover is also impressive. Also, Roshan, who played the child character in the role of Psycho, once again impressed. Heroine Pooja's role is also impressive in flashback as a journalist. Saishri who appeared in the role of Samyukta seemed okay.

The film's biggest asset is the background score. It elevates every scene. Music director Gideon Katta has shown his talent in every scene. Especially in psycho killing episodes, music director Buran Sheikh (Salim) hooked the audience with the kind of background music that should be in the mood while watching thriller movies. Cinematography by Buran Sheikh (Salim) is also rich. Editing has played a major role in this film. Editor Madhu has to be praised for condensing the film in such a gripping manner. Production values are good
