Performances:

Karthi is definitely the backbone of this film as his fantastic performance became one of the major highlights of the film. We can say that Karthi is the show stealer of this film and carries the entire movie on his own shoulders. When compared to his previous movies, Karthi's performance in this movie is remarkable. Narain's energetic performance also added more strength to the film. George Maryan breathes life into his character. The way he slips into the role is worth appreciating. Ramana and Dheena delivered honest performances in the movie. Vatsan Chakravarthy acted naturally. Yogi Babu's screen presence will make the audience laugh. Mahanadi Shankar did his best. The rest of the actors also made their presence felt.

Technical Aspects:

Director Lokesh Kanagaraj handled the script in a truly mesmerizing way. He has treated the story well and presented it engagingly. Each and every twist in the movie is mind-blowing and the full credit should go to director Lokesh Kanagaraj for his style of story execution. Production values by Dream Warrior Pictures and Vivekanand Films are lavish. Music by Sam CS is extraordinary. Especially his BGM in the action sequences is mesmerizing. It elevated the emotions really well. Cinematographer Sathyan Sooryan has produced some beautiful visuals for the film. Editing by Phenomil Raj is clean and neat.

Verdict:

The solid story became one of the biggest plus points for this film. The way the director has narrated the story and treated it is really amazing. Karthi itself is extremely unique and is really challenging. But, despite preparing a complex storyline and characters, the director has succeeded in making the film as engaging as possible. The first half of the movie is all about the story establishment, whereas things take quite a surprising turn in the second half. Each and every scene's portrayal is beautiful. Performances, story, narration, and music can be the plus points of this film. Overall, 'Khaidi' is definitely worth watching the film.
