Orey Bujjiga Movie Review: Raj Tarun whose previous outing 'Iddari Lokam Okate' also ended up as a disaster at the box office has pinned all his hopes on his upcoming movie 'Orey Bujjiga'. But, because of the ongoing pandemic and theatres shut down, the makers have released the film directly on the OTT platforms. 'Orey Bujjiga' directed by Vijay Kumar Konda got released today on Aha. Here is the review of 'Orey Bujjiga'.

Story:

Bujji's (Raj Tarun) parents fix a match for him. But, upset with the decision of his parents, Bujji leaves the town. On the other hand, Krishnaveni (Malavika Nair) also runs away from her home to Hyderabad. But, everyone thinks that Bujji eloped with Krishnaveni. When Krishnaveni learns about it, she becomes upset and started hating Bujji. She then meets Bujji as Seenu and the duo start falling for each other. Bujji finds out that the person Krishnaveni hates is him. What he does to set things right forms the rest of the story.

Performances:

Raj Tarun is energetic and entertaining throughout the film. His performance will surely get some extra brownie points for this film. Especially, in the comedy scenes, Raj Tarun delivered the best performance and will definitely entertain the audience. Malavika Nair became one of the biggest plus points for this movie. It is really refreshing and good to see her on the screen after a long time and she looked absolutely beautiful in her role. The chemistry between Malavika and Raj Tarun also worked out really well. Posani Krishna Murali's comedy is one of the highlights. Satya and Madhu also delivered decent performances in the movie. Naresh and Saptagiri are good in his role. The rest of the actors also did their best.

Technical Aspects:

The story became one of the major setbacks for the film. The routine story will irk most of the audience. Also, the execution of the story by director Vijay Kumar Konda is also somewhat disappointing. Especially, the director could have ended the suspense and cleared the confusion at the starting of the story, but most of the scenes felt really draggy. Production values are decent. The cinematography by I Andrew is bright and impressive. Editing by Prawin Pudi is also one of the biggest minus points for this movie. The music by Anup Rubens is just average and so was the background score.

Verdict:

The movie only focuses on a particular group of audiences. So, apart from B and C centers, most of the audience might not like the film. The story is really simple and there is nothing new in the film to keep the audience hooked. The situational comedy worked out only in some parts of the film. Hebah Patel's role is really bad at times. The movie also became boring and the sloppy screenplay will test the patience of the audience. Despite having good humor here and there, 'Orey Bujjiga' is just a one-time watch movie.
