Amaravati: TDP president and Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu released the party’s third list of 12 candidates for the upcoming municipal elections, finalising nominees for two mayoral posts and 10 municipal chairperson positions.
Kovelamudi Lakshmi Aparna has been named the TDP’s mayoral candidate for the Guntur Municipal Corporation, while Nallamilli Sri Shilpa will contest for the mayor’s post in the Ongole Municipal Corporation.
With the latest announcement, the TDP has named candidates for 10 mayoral positions in Visakhapatnam, Kadapa, Kurnool, Nellore, Tirupati, Vizianagaram, Chittoor, Machilipatnam, Guntur and Ongole.
The party has also finalised candidates for 60 municipal chairperson posts, completing its selection of nominees for the key leadership positions in the urban local bodies.
