Puttaparthi: Bhagavan Vishwakarma Jayanti was celebrated with traditional fervor at the Sri Sathya Sai District Collectorate on Thursday.
District Collector A Shyam Prasad garlanded the portrait of the divine architect, praising artisans and goldsmiths as the backbone of society.
The Collector urged eligible craftsmen to leverage the ‘PM Vishwakarma’ scheme, assuring administrative assistance to resolve application errors.
The event was attended by Puttaparthi RDO Suvarna, BC Welfare Officer Rajendra Kumar Reddy, Skill Development Officer Harikrishna, Swachh Andhra Corporation Director Parveen Bhanu, local leaders, and district officials.
