Anantapur: Bhupalam Satish Babu, hailing from the Anantapur district of Andhra Pradesh, has been appointed as the National General Secretary of the Consumer Confederation of India (CCI)—an organization recognized by the Government of India.
Dr Anantha Sharma, the International President of the Consumer Confederation of India, stated that this appointment was made in recognition of Satish Babu’s long-standing commitment to consumer advocacy and his tireless contributions to the field of journalism. Dr Sharma expressed confidence that this new role would allow Satish Babu to further his impactful work.
Previously, Bhupalam Satish Babu served as the Secretary for the Andhra Pradesh chapter of the CCI, as a member of the national-level disciplinary committee, and as a Joint Secretary. He was elected to the position of National General Secretary during the recent national general body meeting held in Jaipur.
The appointment letter was issued to Bhupalam Satish Babu by Dr Anantha Sharma, through the Chief Election Officer, Shiva Dayal Saini.
