Anantapur: Raptadu MLA Paritala Sunitha and Dharmavaram TDP in-charge Paritala Sriram distributed free clay Vinayaka idols door-to-door in their native village of Venkatapuram on Sunday. Accompanied by family members, they handed out eco-friendly idols to every household in Venkatapuram and nearby villages to prevent the severe water pollution caused by Plaster of Paris. The leaders urged citizens to protect the environment and preserve traditional customs by worshiping clay idols with sacred Garika.
They also conveyed festive greetings to residents of the Raptadu and Dharmavaram constituencies.
