Anantapur: MP Ambica Lakshminarayana visited the Sri Vasavi Old Age Home in Anantapur on Thursday to mark the International Day of Older Persons.
Interacting warmly with residents, she distributed pensions and provided essential items like bedsheets and clothing with donor support. The MP praised the management for delivering quality medical care and support services. Stressing that elders’ blessings are invaluable, she noted that ensuring their respect and security is everyone’s responsibility.
Local leaders, including Talupula Krishnamurthy and Jayanthi Satyaram, joined the meaningful observance.
