Meethi Muskan launched to support underprivileged senior citizens

Bengaluru: Aahwahan Foundation, with support from Tredence CSR, has launched its ‘Meethi Muskan’ initiative to support underprivileged senior citizens living in old age homes. The initiative was inaugurated at Sri Chaithanya Old Age Home in J.P. Nagar, where hundreds of senior citizens benefited from the programme.

The initiative focuses on improving the quality of life of elderly residents by providing support in areas including food, healthcare, clothing, hygiene and overall well-being. The programme also aims to promote dignity, companionship and a sense of belonging among senior citizens.

Braja Kishore Pradhan, CEO and Founder of Aahwahan Foundation, said “Through Meethi Muskan, our aim is not only to address essential needs but also to create an environment where elderly people feel valued, cared for and supported. We are committed to taking this initiative to more cities across India,” he said.

With Tredence CSR support, Aahwahan Foundation has adopted six old age homes across Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune, Kolkata and Gurgaon. The initiative will provide continued assistance to these homes and seek to create more comfortable living conditions for their residents.

The foundation plans to expand Meethi Muskan to more cities and old age homes across India as part of its broader social welfare and community development efforts.
