Doctors at KIMS Cuddles, Guntur after successfully performing complex cardiac surgeries on two newborns
Guntur: KIMS Cuddles, an integral part of KIMS Sikhara Hospitals, successfully performed complex congenital heart surgeries on two newborn babies.
The infants, one from Razole and another from Narasaraopet, were identified with breathing difficulties within two days of birth. Medical evaluation revealed that both babies were suffering from critical transposition of the great arteries.
Their families brought them to KIMS Cuddles, Guntur, for advanced medical treatment. Paediatric cardiologist Dr Vasudev advised that they undergo an Arterial Switch Operation. Paediatric cardiothoracic surgeon Dr Anagha Tulasi successfully performed the arterial switch operation on the newborns.
