Doctors have responsibility beyond consultation room

Dr Rajakumari has brought together a team of around 20 doctors committed to this vision

ISOPARB Guntur chapter president Dr Sanakkayala Rajakumari addressing a meeting in Guntur
Guntur: A hospital should not be the first place where people learn about their health. By the time illness brings a person to a hospital, an opportunity for prevention may already have been missed, said Indian Society of Perinatology and Reproductive Biology (ISOPARB) Guntur chapter president Dr Sanakkayala Rajakumari at a meeting held here on Friday. ISOPARB believes that doctors have a responsibility that extends beyond the consultation room.
Dr Rajakumari has brought together a team of around 20 doctors committed to this vision. Doctors including Dr Anita, Dr Vignata, Dr Sujatha, Dr Shama Sultana, along with other members, are contributing to the chapter’s professional and community-oriented initiatives. For ISOPARB, development must ultimately translate into healthier people and healthier communities.
