Guntur District collector CM Saikanth Varma
Guntur: District collector CM Saikanth Varma clarified that land would be taken for land pooling only to the extent of the actual area shown by the farmers. He addressed a grama sabha held at Vaddamanu village in Tulluru mandal as part of the second phase of Amaravati land pooling on Wednesday.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that the actual extent of land would be taken for land pooling based on the resurvey records and Pattadar Passbooks. He asked farmers to produce documents showing clear boundaries of their lands.
Farmers willing to participate in land pooling were asked to submit their Aadhaar card, bank passbook, Pattadar Passbook, title deed, registration documents related to the land, link documents, Aadhaar-linked mobile number and two photographs. He said that in cases where lands include donka roads or government land, only the actual extent of the privately owned land would be taken for land pooling.
The farmers informed the collector that there were discrepancies between the measurements recorded in their old land documents, which had been in their possession for a long time, and the measurements reflected in the resurvey records. AP CRDA additional commissioner Kollabattula Karthik, Revenue divisional officer K Srinivasa Rao, deputy collector Raghavendra and tahsildar Haribabu were present.
