Guntur: Bapatla district Collector Dr Vinod Kumar V has called upon people to work together to keep villages clean and protect environment. He distributed four battery-operated autos received by the district through Swachha Andhra Corporation to various village panchayats on Monday.
Speaking on this occasion, he expressed happiness over the allocation of eco-friendly vehicles to the district, as they cause no harm to the environment.
Of the four battery-operated autos received from Swachha Andhra Corporation, two were allotted to Suryalanka village in Bapatla mandal, one to Muttayapalem, and one to Kamarajugadda Gram Panchayat.
He urged the respective Gram Panchayats to use the eco-friendly vehicles carefully and effectively.
