Falaknuma: The RTC JAC on Wednesday continued with its protest at Old City's Falaknuma depot, where leaders from Congress and other parties were present to express their solidarity. RTC JAC leaders SHK Reddy, Anand Reddy, NB Ramana, MH Ali, M Shanker, Sabeer, TS Rao, Ramadevi, Sri Latha and other protestors resorted to sloganeering during protest at Falaknuma bus depot.

Addressing the media persons, JAC leaders said that even after High Court directed the striking TSRTC JAC leaders to resolve the matter by holding talks with authorities, the Chief Minister, K Chandrasekhar Rao was showing no interest. They said at least now KCR should hold talks with RTC JAC leaders and resolve the issue.

While extending support to the RTC employees, State Youth Congress Spokesperson, S P Kranthi Kumar said RTC may be having Rs 3,000 crore loan from outside, but the department can resolve the matter easily if given a chance, given the fact that it owns crores of worth property across the State.

This, he said, cannot be an excuse for the State government to not pay the dues of the employees. Later, JAC leaders addressed the employees and said they would continue with the strike until State government invites them for talks and agrees to their demands.
